chose the 'doggy lips' colorway of the Sundry shawl.

Midwives" was the Inspiration for this sweater.
The lace pattern is called "Frost Flower"
from Barbara Walker's "A Treasury of Knitting
Patterns" but the construction of the sweater
was Rose's design. The material used was Mandarin
Petit (100% cotton).
The pattern is The Age of Brass and Steam kerchief,
available (free) on ravelry here.
The yarn was hand dyed in Colorado.
Lynette didn't enjoy making this one - lace on every
row (no pleasant knit or purl back...). The effort
was worth the trouble though!
